2. Overview and scope
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you visit this website and when you contact us, for what purposes and on what legal basis we process it, and what rights you have. We operate a referral and emergency dispatch service: we take your enquiry and refer an independent partner locksmith business that carries out the job on site.
3. Data we process
a) Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in what are known as server log files. This includes in particular: your IP address, the browser used and its version (user agent), the operating system, the date and time of access (timestamp) and the previously visited page (referrer).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not combined with other data sources and is used for the technical provision of the site and to prevent misuse.
b) Contact by phone, WhatsApp or email
When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we process the data you provide (for example your name, phone number, the address of the job and the details of your request) in order to handle your enquiry and to refer a suitable partner business.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract).
c) No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising
This website is a static site. By default we do not use any tracking cookies, analytics or statistics tools, or advertising services. There is no user tracking and no profiling.
4. Contact via WhatsApp
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is additionally processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta. In this case, data may be processed or transferred outside the European Union. We have no influence over this processing. Please refer to WhatsApp's own privacy policy for details. If you wish to avoid this processing, please contact us by phone or email instead.
5. Referral to partner businesses
In order to fulfil your request, we pass the relevant contact and job data (for example your name, phone number and the address of the job) to the independent partner locksmith business selected to carry out the job. This is necessary so that the business can contact you and provide the service on site. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Data retention
We store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry or to comply with statutory retention obligations. After that, the data is deleted. Server log files are retained by the hosting provider for a short, technically necessary period and then deleted.
7. Your rights

8. Hosting
This website is operated by an external hosting provider. The provider processes the technically necessary data (in particular the server log files described above) on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider, ensuring processing in compliance with data protection law.
